libygl4-dev software package provides A library that emulates SGIs GL routines under X11, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libygl4-dev
libygl4-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libygl4-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libygl4-dev *
You will get with libygl4-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
